Why is this year's Anugerah Hijau different from last year's?

Well, the answer is quite simple really.

We want to make the competition EXCITING and keep you, the students, anticipating on what sort of green projects you can work on for your school. Laughing

For this year, we have two whole new categories: Totally Active Robot and Wildly Creative Murals. As how it names suggest, Totally Active Robot involves making a robot, and Wildly Creative Mural involves working on a mural in your school.

And check this out: You don't need to start the project UNLESS your proposal is accepted. This helps us, at Anugerah Hijau, review your project proposals properly.

For each proposal which we have approved, your school/club will received RM500 as seed grant money to start your project. Now you see why we only want the proposals first? Laughing

In that proposal, you'd have to describe your project and how you are going to run the project. And please, tell us why we should choose your proposal and how you will spend the RM500

Once you have been shortlisted (only ten schools will be chosen), each school will have to send two student representatives and one teacher representation to attend ONE workshop (either the robot making workshop or the mural workshop, depending on which category your school has registered for). Only after the workshop, will you start your project.

It's as easy as that. And of course, the ten projects will be presented during our award ceremony where we will announce the winners.

Easy Peasy! Tongue out

So start talking to your friends and teachers, and get them on board to participate. The prizes are AWESOME!
